Sharon Barbara Siegel based in New York City is a Feng Shui Lifestyle Interior Design Consultant. Her company, Harmony Thru Design, uses three forms of feng shui, combining the ancient Chinese classical art form with traditional spiritual practices when designing residential and business environments for her clients.
The ancient art practiced by Sharon Barbara Siegel creates balance and harmony in her clients lives by placing them and their belongings in their environments in a way that changes the flow of chi, or life force energy, bringing them good fortune, health and well being. The classical art form focuses on the directional orientation, measurement and proportions of the building.
Harmony Thru Design supports its clients in identifying the areas in their home and business environments that they would like to improve and change. After a tour of the commercial or residential property Sharon Siegel will prescribe specific areas to suit the clients needs through design elements, color and other design needs that the client may specify. Sharon works with her clients in also choosing all the objects, materials (she is knowledgeable in working with green universal principles) and re-designing the residential and commercial environments that enhance the effectiveness of the client and their living or business environments.
Sharon combines over 25 years of experience in the home furnishing and design industry with more than 25 years of studies in eastern philosophies to bridge feng shui and spiritual practice in her business. Her enthusiasm and great imagination is realized in the harmoniously balanced interiors of the homes and businesses she has designed to fit the lifestyle of her clients. Sharon guides her clients through the process with ease, clarity and her vision creating environments of balance, harmony and beauty through her professional feng shui and design knowledge. Sharon’s life experience has lead her to become a successful New York area Feng Shui Design consultant for many residences and businesses.
Sharon’s experience at Crate and Barrel Furniture for over 7 years has furthered her Interior Design Talents. Her consulting work with one Real Estate owner at Crate and Barrel resulted in her designing over 400 apartments in Manhattan. The client requested Sharon’s assistance in choosing all the furniture for a building on West 73rd Street with 250 apartments. She was also responsible to be on site and create a unified look and harmonious atmospheres for all the one and two bedroom suites as they were being rented fully furnished. After the completion of that project Sharon was hired by the same company to do similar design work for over 150 apartments at Herald Towers on 34th Street and Broadway. Sharon has done Interior Design at Crate and Barrel for clients all over the country including newscasters, and film and TV celebrities.
Sharon holds certificates from the Metropolitan Institute of Interior Design Black Sect School, studied with the BTB Feng Shui Professional Training Program at the NY Open Center, BTB courses with Professor Lin Yun. Sharon studied Classical Compass and Form School Feng Shui with Roger Green at the New York School of Feng Shui; She studied space-clearing techniques with Karen Kingston. Sharon has studied with Alex Stark since 2001. With Alex Stark she has Studied Classical Feng Shui, Space Clearings, Nine Star Ki, Flying Star astrology, Blessing Ceremonies, Sacred spaces and Earth Geomancy, Sharon also completed Alex Stark’s 5-year shaman program,
